What? Me? Worry?
Who do we think we are kidding? What a joke!!! TMA has always been short of pilots.. common knowledge. But have we ever been THIS SHORT????!! I certainly don't think so. Not for the last three years. Almost all pilots flying through their limits! I heard some guys will get "forced leave" once they reach 1000hrs for the year. Not a good thing now that the leave is unpaid.
I guess everybody expected it to be better with Ishan around, but he turned out to be helpless just like anybody who has ever stepped into the chief pilot's position.
What does the top management do to get a solution for this problem? Hire new pilots you say?? NAAAAH!! too expensive! We will just get an exemption from the "ever helpful" CAD Maldives for the pilots who are already over fatigued and work them extra!! I wonder how much CAD charge for these exemptions???

Do u guys remember how Bram Steller acted when he first got here. First thing he tried was bring his old colleagues from Jet Airways. However Maldivian smart asses didn’t give this chance. Few guys came, people like Mark the photographer for TMA website which sofar have not been uploaded yet and the chief Cabin Crew of Jet Airways, Ooops I don’t know his name. This guy conducted a cabin crew training or customer care course for few CA of TMA. I also got a certificate for this but I did not attend the course cos I was working every day all day. But its ok I got the certificate from very expensive instructor. Kind of asshole isn’t???
